Dance Shows

Your dancers take the stage. We take care of everything backstage.

The annual show is the moment the whole year builds towards — for your students, their families, and the teachers who've put months of work into making it happen. The last thing you need on show day is a technical problem: a radio mic cutting out mid-number, a lighting cue that misses, a sound level that wasn't right for the room.

We've worked with dance schools and academies across the Midlands for years. We know how these shows work, what can go wrong, and how to make sure it doesn't. On show day, your job is to be with your students. Ours is to make sure everything backstage runs exactly as planned.

What we typically provide for dance shows

  • Radio microphone systems — we specialise in larger-cast setups; our Trantec S5.3 12-headset system is ideal for dance schools with mixed vocal and spoken elements

  • Sound engineering — managing music playback, live vocal mics and overall levels for the room throughout the show

  • Lighting operators — including state-by-state programming for multi-act shows with many individual pieces

  • Show crew — reliable hands for get-in, show calls and get-out

  • Pre-show technical visit and venue familiarisation

  • Equipment hire — for schools that have their own technical team but need additional kit

We understand how dance shows work

Large casts, quick changes between pieces, music playback combined with live vocals, venues that range from school halls to proper theatres — we've worked in all of them.

We're also used to working alongside venue technicians who are already in place. On show day everyone is under pressure. We keep our heads, communicate clearly, and make sure the show runs the way you planned it.
