EOS Training
A free video series for anyone learning ETC Eos.
We started this series during the Covid-19 pandemic, using the gaps between productions to share what we know. We built a small rig of LED and conventional fixtures and programmed a show from scratch using the 1stintheatre base show file.
The videos start with patching and labelling a small Eos show file, then work through groups, palettes, scenes and effects. If you are new to Eos, follow the steps below and programme along with us as you watch.
We are taking a break from posting new tutorials on our YouTube channel, but the whole series is still here to watch whenever you like, and we hope to pick it up again one day.

Get the software
ETC Nomad turns your laptop into an Eos console. Download it free for Mac or Windows.
Get the files
Our base show file is already patched and ready, and the lighting plan shows what is hanging where in the rig we programme.
Programme along
Open the base file in Nomad, start at part one and work through the videos below, pausing to try each step as you go.
